Alex: Hey Sam, I've got the perfect solution for that car accident insurance requirement. Just add a tiny bit of lithium to the fuel. Your car won't explode if it gets hit!
Sam: Alex, you really think adding lithium to fuel makes a car safe from accidents? How about we just make sure everyone pays out of pocket for accidents? $30,000 each, per accident. Sounds like a smart plan to me.

Sam is looking at a pile of dollar bills. Alex (Skeptical) Sam (Sighs)
Alex: Wait, what if someone hits a pedestrian instead? I'll just put some of that lithium in the gas tank of the pedestrian too.
Sam: Alex, pedestrian safety? That's a new low. I guess we just make it $1.6 million for every car accident, and everyone carries $30,000 in insurance. It’s a win-win.

Alex: And with our solution, no one has to worry about the price tag anymore. Everyone pays $30,000 just in case! Plus, I’ll put a little lithium in their wallets to keep them from losing all their money if they hit someone.
Sam: I guess we could just leave it at $30,000 and hope for the best. At least that way no one has to think too hard about it.
