Editor's note
While the pet cam feature for Rivian R2 owners certainly offers peace of mind for pet lovers, it also raises questions about the increasing intrusion of technology into personal and private spaces, highlighting the blurred lines between convenience and surveillance in our daily lives.

Panel 1
*Inside a modern living room, a person sits on a couch, holding a smartphone with the Rivian R2 app open. A large TV in the background shows a video call with a dog lying on a bed, looking at the camera.* Person (muttering)
Person: I guess it’s not enough to just know I left the car door open.
Panel 2
*The same person is now in a parking garage, standing next to their Rivian R2. The phone shows the live pet cam feed, with a cat sitting on the passenger seat, looking around curiously.* Person (sighing)
Person: And now I can’t even leave my cat alone without checking up on it.
Panel 3
*Back in the living room, the person is still holding the phone, looking at the pet cam feed. The TV shows a bird perched on a cage, looking out the window with curiosity.* Person (dryly)
Person: Next thing you know, I’ll be scheduling playtime for my pets while I’m at work.
